This is the very first photo in my iPhone photo album. Kid you not. I’d taken it on my grandparents’ front steps (now my house, my front walk). I’ve had the same temperamental iPhone for several years, so this must’ve been taken back sometime in early 2012, just before the shit hit the fan and my family so to speak. I have no earthly idea why it still exists in my photo album on my phone. Come to think of it, I don’t know why I took the thing to begin with. I think I was in a terrible mood — so normal at the time for me — and I needed to find something amusing. I just didn’t expect it to be right on the front steps, right there, the way nature intended. Horny lizards. I don’t think they expected to have their pic taken, so I’m sure now that I’ve totally exploited them, posting their shenanigans officially on my blog, they’ll hunt me down for their residuals, demanding compensation of some sort.
I’m not scared. After all, I own a hungry cat.
NOTE: I know this was meant to be a pic of me, but I really don’t like posting photos of me…so I modified the prompt because…well, because I can.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Snapshot Stories.”
So funny!

For a Barbie, maybe.

Great photo, not only the compromising position of the couple, but also the contrast of color and symmetry.

As one who normally doesn’t take pictures much anymore, I thank you!
